Did you recently have a VHC or Vehicle Health Check on your car? You may have noticed it’s graded just like a traffic light system.
In order to make it easier for you to understand how much life is left in your tyres, brake pads, etc, we use this system to judge the lifespan remaining.
What do the different colours mean?
Green items are in relatively good condition and shouldn’t need urgent replacing. Yellow items need to be monitored closely as they will need replacing soon. Red items need to be replaced straight away. (The vehicle should not leave our workshop before the item is replaced).
What VHC system is used in Monasterevin Motors?
The VHC system we use is called Triage and it’s also used by Toyota garages around the world. We’ve included an example of a VHC report below. You can see that some of the items are red, while some are yellow. Your VHC report will also include a list of prices beside the flagged items so that you know how much it will cost to replace them.
If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to ask a member of our service team and they will be happy to help.
